This book is a true account and expresses my feelings on what was a long, painful and arduous journey of disclosure, self-discovery and determination to overcome the aftermath of child sexual abuse. I know I'm now a much better person than I have ever been in my life.

A support page has been set up providing telephone numbers and online addresses for organisations offering support to survivors and their families. My whole life changed once I reached out for help and I found an immeasurable amount of support and information. I was lucky enough to make many good friends along the way too.

Word of mouth is a powerful thing and hopefully my book and the recognition that could come with it will allow me to speak up publicly via the media in the future.

A wise man told me that "The longest journey begins with a single step".

Writing my book was the start of that journey; this is my first small step on the journey "To make a difference". Thank you for joining me.
